This Privacy Policy explains how Acowntant Chartered Accountants LLC ("Acowntant", "we", "us") handles personal data when you visit acowntant.ae, enquire about our services, or use our platform. We process personal data in accordance with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data and applicable regulations.
We process personal data on the basis of your consent, the performance of a contract with you, compliance with a legal obligation, and our legitimate interest in running and improving our business.
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us operate (for example secure cloud hosting and accounting software such as Zoho), with regulators and authorities where required by law, and with professional advisers under confidentiality obligations.
Your data is stored on secured, access-controlled cloud infrastructure. We apply encryption in transit, role-based access and audit logging. Where data is transferred outside the UAE, we ensure an adequate level of protection. See our Security page for more detail.
We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes above, including statutory retention periods for accounting and tax records under UAE law.
